These terms govern your use of Mārama software and services provided by Marama Security LLC (“we”, “us”). By purchasing a license or using our software, you agree to these terms.
The software
Mārama is self-hosted software that automates SSO certificate rotation inside your own Azure tenant. You deploy and operate it in your environment. We provide the software, license, and support described in your agreement.
Mārama is currently in active development. Features, supported platforms, and documentation may change as we build toward general availability.
License
Subject to payment and these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Mārama in your Azure tenant for the term of your agreement.
You may not:
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the software
- Reverse engineer the software except where permitted by law
- Remove or alter license validation mechanisms
- Use the software in violation of applicable law
Your license is bound to your Azure tenant ID. Contact us if you need to transfer a license to a different tenant.
Founder’s license
Founder’s licenses are available to the first 10 customers only. They provide early access to an unfinished product and a locked annual renewal price for life, as described on our pricing page.
Founder’s licenses do not guarantee feature completeness, uptime, or a specific release date. You are purchasing early access to software that is still being built.
Payment
License fees are billed as described at purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly agreed in writing.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Deploying and operating Mārama in your Azure environment
- Maintaining your Azure infrastructure, identity provider, and SSO integrations
- Keeping your configuration accurate and up to date
- Securing access to your deployment and key vault
Support
During the development phase, we provide reasonable support via email at hello@maramasec.io. Response times are not guaranteed. We will work with Founder’s license holders in good faith as the product matures.
Data and privacy
Mārama operates inside your Azure tenant. Your business data, credentials, and telemetry do not reach our infrastructure. Our collection of your business contact information and tenant ID is described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer
The software is provided “as is” during the development phase. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marama Security LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the software will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
We may terminate your license if you breach these terms. You may stop using the software at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the software ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles.
